Which way of working fits you best?

We are redesigning the billing screen and we have not picked a layout, that is exactly what we are asking you. Two things are already settled and built into every option below: you can show and hide the columns you care about, and you work a whole claim without hopping between tabs. The open question is how much you want on screen at once.

The same claim is in every option. Please work it, do not just look at it, then tell us which fits how you actually work.

First, the exercise

Take a claim from intake to filed in each option, and do it twice, once with each of these:

Claim A, clean

Everything is there and correct. Your job is just to confirm it and file.

Claim B, messy

Missing units and an unsigned reading report. You have to catch and fix it before it can go out.

Watch whether your answer changes between the clean claim and the messy one. That difference is exactly what we are trying to learn.

For comparison: how you work today

Today

Classic

Your current screen, modernized. It is here only as a reference point, so you can weigh the options below against what you use now.

The options

Three ways to work the same claim. They differ mainly in how much sits on screen at once. There is no right answer, we want to know which suits you.

Least on screen

Guided

One step at a time: Pull, Verify, Code, Review, File. Nothing extra in view.

One scrolling page, closest to the layout you know today, all in one place.
